This first-time event is designed to showcase Iowa's most responsible meat producers as well as Des Moines Chefs who feature these Iowa meats on their menus.

Nine local chefs will pair with Iowa Meat producers to create unique dishes for guests to sample. Many producers will be in attendance to discuss their products alongside the chefs who partnered with them for The Rare Affair.
